Why choose a bladeless motor for food or pharmaceutical applications?+
Conventional motors use a cooling fan that draws in ambient air and expels particles. In food or pharma environments this creates contamination risk. The bladeless design uses passive cooling only, eliminating airflow-borne contamination.
How does the motor stay cool without a fan?+
The motor housing is designed with enhanced surface area for passive convective cooling. At 60W continuous duty the motor stays within safe operating temperature limits without active cooling.
Is an IP-rated version available for wash-down environments?+
Standard models are IP44 rated. For wash-down or higher IP requirements, please contact us to discuss upgraded sealing options.
Can the ESC variant control direction as well as speed?+
The ESC controls speed. Direction reversal requires wiring changes as described in the wiring guide. Some ESC variants support direction switching via an external signal — contact us for details.
