The fan blade version provides active cooling, making it suitable for sustained high-load applications or high ambient temperature environments. The bladeless version is preferred where contamination from fan airflow is a concern, such as food or pharmaceutical environments.
How does the integrated ESC work?+
The built-in Electronic Speed Controller allows you to adjust output speed from 0 to 100% of rated speed using a control knob or external 0–5V signal. No separate inverter or speed controller is required.
Can this motor run continuously at full load?+
Yes. With active fan cooling and Class F insulation, the YC-90 Fan Blade Motor is rated for continuous S1 duty at full load in ambient temperatures up to 40°C.
Is the fan speed adjustable separately from the motor speed?+
No. The fan is directly coupled to the motor and runs at a speed proportional to motor speed. The fan is designed to provide adequate cooling across the full ESC speed range.
