How is the ESC speed controlled?+
The integrated ESC includes an adjustment knob for manual speed setting, and most models also accept an external 0–5V analog signal for automated speed control from a PLC or controller.
Does the ESC affect the motor's torque output?+
The ESC maintains consistent torque delivery across the speed range. At very low speeds (below 20% of rated), torque may reduce slightly — contact us if your application requires high torque at very low speeds.
Can the ESC version run at full speed as a standard motor?+
Yes. Setting the ESC to 100% delivers the same performance as the standard non-ESC model. The ESC adds variable speed capability without compromising full-speed performance.
Is external speed control via PLC signal supported?+
Yes. Most ESC variants support a 0–5V or 4–20mA analog input for remote speed control from a PLC or automation controller. Please specify your control interface requirement when ordering.
