The Pro variant features an upgraded controller with a wider adjustable speed range, finer speed resolution and faster response time. It also includes an analog input (0–5V or 4–20mA) as standard for direct PLC integration.
Can I control this motor from a PLC or SCADA system?+
Yes. The Pro ESC includes a standard 0–5V analog input and optionally 4–20mA. Connect your PLC analog output directly to the ESC signal input for automated speed control.
What is the minimum stable operating speed?+
The enhanced ESC maintains stable speed control down to approximately 10% of rated speed. For applications requiring very low speed with high torque, please contact us to confirm suitability.
Is the motor suitable for cleanroom environments?+
The standard motor is not fanless — if contamination from fan airflow is a concern, please refer to our YC-90 Bladeless ESC model (motor-06) instead. For semiconductor or pharmaceutical environments, specify your IP and contamination requirements when enquiring.
