Helical Geared Reducer
RC Helical Geared Reducer — Frame 07–167
Reduction Ratio 1.3:1 – 289.74:1 · Hardened Helical Gearing · Foot / Flange Mount
The RC helical geared reducer is a hardened-tooth helical gearbox built for high-efficiency industrial power transmission, reaching up to 98% transmission efficiency — significantly higher than worm-drive reducers. Its 20CrMnTi carburized and nitrided gear teeth (HRC58-62) are precision ground for stable, low-noise running under heavy continuous load. Available across 14 frame sizes (07–167) with reduction ratios from 1.3:1 to 289.74:1, and as a double-reduction DRC combination reaching ratios up to 27001:1 for extreme low-speed applications. Supplied in foot-mounted (RC), flange-mounted (RCF) or combined foot+flange (RC..F) configurations.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about the RC helical geared reducer
What is the difference between RC, RCF, RC..F and DRC?+
RC is foot-mounted, RCF is flange-mounted, RC..F combines both foot and flange mounting on the same unit, and DRC is a double-reduction combination of two gearboxes in series for very high ratios (up to 27001:1). Tell us your installation method and required ratio and we'll recommend the right configuration.
How is RC different from a worm gear reducer (like your NMRW series)?+
RC uses hardened helical gears and reaches up to 98% efficiency per stage, versus roughly 50-90% for worm gear reducers depending on ratio. RC is better suited to continuous heavy-duty and high-power applications; worm reducers are more compact and offer natural self-locking at a lower cost for lighter loads.
Does the RC reducer come with a motor?+
RC reducers are supplied as a gearbox matched to a specific IEC motor frame size. We can supply the gearbox alone or as a complete geared motor set — tell us your required output speed, torque and motor power and we will recommend the correct frame size and ratio.
Is OEM/custom specification available?+
Yes. We support custom mounting position, terminal box orientation, shaft configuration and branding with flexible MOQ. Contact us via WhatsApp for OEM pricing and exact dimensional drawings for your frame size.
