Precision Planetary Gearbox
MB/MBR High-Precision Planetary Gearbox — Frame 042–220
Output Torque 14 – 2000 Nm · Backlash ≤1 – 9 arcmin · For Servo Motor Applications
The MB/MBR series is a high-precision planetary gearbox designed to mount directly onto a servo motor, delivering low backlash and high torsional rigidity for CNC machinery, robotics and automated positioning equipment. MB is the standard inline configuration; MBR extends the reduction ratio range further for applications needing extra-low output speed. Available across 7 frame sizes (042–220mm) with rated output torque from 14Nm to 2000Nm, backlash grades down to ≤1 arcmin, and efficiency up to 97% per stage. Maintenance-free synthetic grease lubrication and an IP65-rated housing support continuous-duty operation in industrial environments.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about the MB/MBR precision planetary gearbox
What is the difference between MB and MBR?+
MB is the standard configuration with reduction ratios up to 10:1 (single stage) or 100:1 (double stage). MBR extends this range up to 20:1 (single stage) or 200:1 (double stage) for applications needing extra-low output speed, with slightly wider backlash tolerance. Tell us your required ratio and we'll recommend the right one.
What does the backlash grade (P0/P1/P2) mean, and which one do I need?+
Backlash is the amount of "play" in the output shaft when reversing direction, measured in arc-minutes — lower means more precise. P0 (≤1 arcmin) suits high-precision applications like CNC and robotics; P1/P2 grades are more economical and suit less demanding positioning tasks. Tell us your application and required accuracy and we'll recommend the right grade.
Can this gearbox be mounted directly to my servo motor?+
Yes. The MB/MBR series is designed with a standard input flange and coupling to mount directly onto common servo motor frame sizes. Tell us your servo motor brand and model (or its flange/shaft dimensions) and we will confirm compatibility or recommend an adapter.
Is OEM/custom specification available?+
Yes. We support custom input adapters, output shaft configuration, backlash grade and branding with flexible MOQ. Contact us via WhatsApp for OEM pricing and exact dimensional drawings for your frame size.
