Compact Planetary Gearbox
MPL/MPLF/MPLR/MPLFR Compact Planetary Gearbox — Frame 60–160
Compact Inline or Flange Output · Output Torque 40 – 650 Nm · Economical Servo Gearbox
The MPL family is a compact, economical planetary gearbox line covering 4 frame sizes (60–160mm) with output torque from 40Nm to 650Nm — sized for smaller servo motors and lighter-duty positioning tasks than the MB or MFB series. Four configurations are available: MPL (standard inline shaft output), MPLF (flange output for direct equipment mounting), MPLR (extended ratio range) and MPLFR (flange output with extended ratio range). Like the rest of the range, it uses maintenance-free synthetic grease lubrication and an IP65-rated housing suited to continuous-duty automation use.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about the MPL compact planetary gearbox
What is the difference between MPL and MPLF?+
MPL has a standard protruding output shaft, like a typical gearbox. MPLF replaces this with a flat output flange, letting you bolt your equipment directly to the gearbox face without a shaft coupling — useful for compact, direct-drive mounting.
How does MPL compare to your MB/MBR series?+
MPL covers a smaller size and torque range (60–160mm, up to 650Nm) than MB/MBR (042–220mm, up to 2000Nm), and is generally the more economical choice for smaller servo motors and lighter-duty positioning tasks. If your application needs higher torque or a larger frame size, MB/MBR is the better fit.
What is the difference between MPLR and MPLFR?+
Both offer the extended reduction ratio range (up to 20:1 single stage / 200:1 double stage). MPLR has a standard shaft output; MPLFR combines the extended ratio range with the flange output configuration.
Is OEM/custom specification available?+
Yes. We support custom input adapters, output shaft configuration, backlash grade and branding with flexible MOQ. Contact us via WhatsApp for OEM pricing and exact dimensional drawings for your frame size.
